Established in 1976, Webb’s of Hitchin have been part of the Hitchin retail community for almost 50 years. Set up by John & Sylvia Webb, the shop was originally a Stamp & Coin shop. But in the 1980’s they took the decision to downsize the Stamp & Coin shop and become a Green Grocers.

This curious union of Fruit & Veg with Stamps & Coins continued till 2020 when their youngest son, Andrew, stepped in to take over the running of the family business. Having jumped in when the Covid pandemic struck Andrew has set about bringing the fruit & vegetable business into the 21^st century whilst still maintaining the traditional focus on delivering seasonal local produce and friendly customer service.
